Jeff Brazier is reportedly hoping to mend his broken heart with a new romance this year.
Jeff, 43, announced last month that he had split from wife Kate Dwyer after nine years together.
The proud father took to social media to share a photo of himself smiling as he revealed the news that changed his life.
Jeff, who shared two children with the late reality star Jade Goody, married Kate in 2018 and their children acted as best men on the happy occasion.
After his marriage split, Jeff’s close friends rallied around the star, all reportedly vowing to enjoy several ‘guys’ nights out’ with the father-of-two in hopes he can find love. again.
“His mates have come to an agreement to have some supportive guys nights together as Jeff really wants to start the new year off with a new romance,” a source told Heat.
“He’s hoping to find someone to share his life with eventually, but he just wants to make sure it’s the right person,” they added.
Posting the announcement of his marriage separation on Instagram, Jeff spoke about a ‘challenging’ year when he wrote: “A time to practice what I preach and start the new week with honesty. One for the smiling and eternally positive people who don’t they often allow themselves the right to share their own vulnerabilities.
“I have a lot to be thankful for and appreciate facing the lessons I need to grow, but this year has been challenging to say the least. My relationship of 9 years ended at the beginning of the year and I’ve been working on that as well as supporting someone close to me who is going through something difficult.
Jeff continued, “The kids and I recently moved to a new area and I spend most of my time alone as the kids obviously have their own stuff. There have been constant changes this year and I’m good at adapting but the combination of things has me It has left me depressed at times and honestly I have never felt loneliness like this.
“I have a lot of good friends and I know they are just a phone call away, but sometimes I find it hard to admit that I am struggling with all the changes and prefer to continue working alone. I am a little too good at that.”
“There was always going to come a day when the guys didn’t want or need me as much and I thought I’d be more than fine with all this time on my hands.”
Jeff has been the person who raised Bobby, 19, and Freddie, 18, after their mother, Jade Goody, died of cancer.
Jade passed away in March 2009.
